It is 1730 and a plague most hideous is spreading fast through the small port town of Upper Trollop. We follow a band of survivors as they fight their way across town to jump aboard The Buxom Strumpet and sail away to safety. Ian Mckellen's scenes and narration have already been completed and Gillian Anderson and Mark Williams are attached. Filming is set to begin Spring 2012. |

Directed by Matthew Butler and adapted for screen and produced by Tori Hart. Filming took place on location at Wroxton Abbey, Oxfordshire. Carol Royle plays Miss Biddy’s Aunt and Ian McKellen narrates. |
First performed as a play in 1747, Miss in her Teens is the story of a wealthy young heiress who Sir Simon Loveit, a widower, wishes to marry. His son, Captain Bob, however has already won her heart before he went to war in Flanders.On his return, Captain Bob discovers, courtesy of his manservant Puff, that Miss has two other suitors, Captain Flash and Mr. Fribble. After coercing Flash and Fribble into a duelling stand-off, Miss Biddy and her maid, Tag, watch the ensuing chaos with glee as Captain Bob chases off his rivals. Sir Simon relinquishes his attachment to Miss Biddy, leaving true love to win the day. |
